OPEN

MONDAY, OCTOBER 17

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
John 17:20-23

Please pray for UNITY in our church body; we are one body, with Jesus Christ as the Head. We all have many talents, varying skills, time, finances, and many resources. Therefore…we pray for a unified body to accomplish God’s purpose and plans for the direction of our church and to seek the lost: locally, regionally, and globally.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18

…I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
John 17:23

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

“The branches of the vine are many, yet, meeting in the root, are all but one vine; thus all true Christians, though in place and opinion distant from each other, meet in Christ.” (Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary)

Please pray that, as one body and one church, we will seek the Lord and His direction for everything we do- that our dependence upon Christ will be reflected in our daily living. Pray specifically for confidence in His care and love for us, for a zeal for Christ in our families, and for a desire to make Him known around us and all over the world.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19

…I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
John 17:23

“Complete unity” - And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Col. 3:14

Pray today that, as the 3Circle Church Family, we would seek to have a unity, or a oneness, that mirrors the oneness that Jesus and His Father have with each other. Pray that our love for one another would be a witness to those in our communities and our world.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20

…I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
John 17:23

I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. John 10:16

“It is not uniformity which is promised, but unity. For all Christians there will be one true Shepherd who layeth down His life for the sheep, and all these differing folds shall, through living in unity with Him, make one vast flock.”
(Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary)

Please pray for the leadership of our church, that their strategic planning to bring others to Christ will be embraced by the full body, so that we work together in unity of purpose.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21

…I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”
John 17:23

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God loves you enough to give His Son for you!! What would it mean for you if you truly believed this enough to live like someone who is loved passionately by God? How would this reality affect your relationships and your prayer life?

Please pray that you would accept that love, with all of your imperfections, and abide in that love, so others will see Jesus in you.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22

“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:1-2

Please continue in prayer for UNITY. When the Body of Christ is UNIFIED with Christ as the Head, we can do all things. As we pray, ask God for wisdom, understanding, and patience for our brothers and sisters; regardless of what part of the body each person is, we are complete only when we work together. Ask God to show you which part you are to contribute. When we seek God first and delight in Him, He will show us what we need to do. Pray for guidance, willingness, and strength in Christ, to accomplish our mission to reach the lost. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare minds, hearts, ears, and eyes to receive His Word. Let us continue, brothers and sisters, in being like-minded and of one accord.

This Week We Want To Be Engaged In Prayer For Generosity To Further The Kingdom Of God Here At 3Circle Church.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 31

God expresses His love in giving, which is His “Love Language.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved…. that he gave…”
1 Cor. 11:1 Everything comes from God.
1 Cor. 4:7 What do you have that you did not receive?

Pray with thanksgiving today for all you have received:
• In your house
• In your community
• At 3Circle

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1

The Call to Contentment
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.
1 Tim 6:6-10

PRAY FOR:
• Growth in godliness
• Freedom from materialism/love of money
• Satisfaction with what you have
• Satisfaction with relationships

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2

How do we respond to God’s generosity?
I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s [God’s gift of] mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship.
Romans 12:1

How can we offer ourselves to God each day? Ask God for ways to serve/support others.
• Family
• Church
• In our three circles of influence

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3

The Call to Share
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
1 Cor 9:11

PRAY FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO:
• Offer hospitality (open your home, deliver a meal…)
• Share time with the lonely, shut-ins, aged…
• Share experience, wisdom, practical knowledge God has given you.
• Share your blessings with others.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4

Generosity Advances the Kingdom of God
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19-20

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

Pray for a spirit of generosity in our church:
• Money
• Time given in service to others: Hope Center, Guest Services, Coffee Bar, Parking Team, etc.
• Talents/spiritual gifts in service to others: teaching, worship team, Hope Center, Men’s events, Women’s events, Kids/Preschool ministries
• Lavishly loving others: “Love each other as I have loved you.”

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5

The Commitment to Generosity
Now, who is willing to consecrate (dedicate, devote) himself today to the Lord?
1 Chron. 29:5

PRAY FOR:
• Hearts devoted to a spirit of continuous generosity.
• Hearts open to see God move us beyond our current ability to give.
• Hearts of faith, knowing that as we refresh others, we will be refreshed.
